The University of Arizona Honors College selected Dr. Marcus for the 2013 Advocate for Education award. The award recognized Dr. Marcus as “an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary efforts in promoting education”. Dr. Marcus will be honored at an awards ceremony where he will give a keynote speech to the Honors College Students. He will be speaking on the critical importance of education at all levels, and his life after graduation, and also how we can stay involved with education throughout our careers. He looks forward to advising and providing insight to current and future students. The ceremony will take place at the Slonaker House on campus, April 24th at 5pm.
